Conway Truckload Drivers what is your 20?

Sitting in Columbus Ohio until tomorrow afternoon. Relayed a load going to Topton PA. for a load going 120 miles away. Oh well, finished for the second week with about 2,200 miles. Just hi-lited for JopMo, going to see the Doc. Oh, and I was also moved to Fleet 3 with Jean.

I tried Pete's 24 hour early trick, but met no success. The QC stop information said "no overnight parking" on one line and on the very next line "overnight parking allowed" so I felt obligated to take a look... Since no one is working the warehouse until 0500 tomorrow, they let me park in the dock. Depending on the timing of my next load, that may afford me a reset (I do have 20 hours left on my 70, but I don't start recapping for 3 days and I'm beginning to suspect I get better total miles when I have lots of hours available on Thursday/Friday for those 1500+ mile weekend runs).

...and now I'm beginning to feel like Lester from American Beauty: "You couldn't possibly care less, could you?"

 

Closed last week with 2500. ran 500 today, but only 300 will count towards this week as it was dispatched yesterday.

 

Real cruddy weather here in northwestern Ohio. Delivered last night and then got snowed in this morning.

 

Woke up to an alert that I have a new fleet supervisor, fortunately I know her and she knows I like to run.wonder if this is part of why I've had more pre-plans recently. Will have nearly 700 when I reach Laredo tonight.
