You have my deepest sympathy NTAT! I know that it can be a tough decision. With my belief your uncle has already moved on and so you have to search for whether your Mom would want you there enough forfeit your job. Speaking for myself personally, I would not want my son to give up his job. You may want to speak to her about it. I hope it gets better for you soon.

Thanks guys. I took the family first route (I mean I do have "family over everything" tattooed on my chest) they were understanding and gave me an extra day off, but I owe it back next month. Thank you for your replies and concern. Its good to see my fellow drivers encouraging me.
