Howdy guys hope everyone had a wonderful Easter, NotTheAverageTrucker sorry to hear about your loss, glad you were able to be with your family. Been missing the road, been off since February 10th when husband went into hospital due to blood clot in lungs, was told that half of his right lung was dead and that it would take 6mths to a year for all the clots and lungs to heal, went yesterday to Dr's for CT scan news and Dr's says his lungs looked like nothing had ever happen, all clots gone and half the lung has healed completely, so he got released fully to go back to work !!! Can't wait got just a few more things to finish up then we're back on the road probably middle of next week. Hope everyone has a great weekend and be safe !!!

Good News ! Welcome Back....just heads up ...the morning report keeps saying no ready available trucks ....so you might get with truck assignment before you ready to go ..
CMBreen Thanks this. -
Thanks everyone, so glad things are working out, trucking is something my husband loves and was heartbroken when he was first told he would not be able to continue driving, then we got the news that the meds would allow him to drive, but would have to be off for 30-60 days due to DOT. The only sad news is that he's not going to be able to make it a life long career, once you have a blood clot you are prone to get them especially if you are a truck driver, so it looks like we'll be out on the road for a year max, but at least we can get back to work. Thanks Paul for the heads up !!!

Just dropped a trailer to get a roll-up door installed (and picked up one that was finished). Pretty slick, no more waiting for cust to break seal -- just remove lock, back in, and hop in the sleeper... Most were dedicated trailers, but not all -- can't wait to pull one more than 100 miles.

picking up a relay in Trenton that originated out of nc and is headed to montreal -- is that you?[/QUOTE]
Nope....must hv been a slacker to drop in Trenton! ( routing was up I-81)
I went up I-77 , I-81 All the way to Ont 401 ....728 miles today & I would of did more but there was 6" of wet snow on the ground in Montreal...got suck a couple times just trying to drop my trl....sitting in front of a Tim Horton's ....atleast it feels warmer lol -
Lawrenceville waiting on a load.Think the lack of an empty is what's keeping us here sitting. Dispatch said that we can't take one of the dedicated truckload empties with a roll up door. Anyone know why? Lol....they shot me a empty trailer number to grab, but that trailer is not here.
