    Go to Sami's!
West on eureka, cross over telegraph, couple blocks on right. Park in back. Way better than little daddy.

have a question for you guys do you know when on time off and you call dispatch and they dispatch you on a deadhead on your day off do you get that day off back or should i say banked or does it still count even though you are on a dispatch. I had today off and called local dispatch today and he put me on the board then took me off and gave me this load to pick up tommorw so was wondering if i get to bank this day since i was dispatched. Thx

As soon as you commit to a load your working ( or available )

I was told to call when I got to the house and ask if they want to commit to a load for the day I return...
Thus you would stay home but bank your days....hasn't work for me in FL but there is a lack of freight in FL not lack of trucks

Taylor... waiting on a locksmith because my ####### grabbed the luggage key, but locked the key that opens the door inside the truck. Tried about 20 spares dispatch had on hand but no joy. Been a super long day & I just want to crawl into my bunk and sleep (wah wah wah).

$175 lesson of the day: the luggage key, combined with the leverage of pliers, with either open the door or break inside the lock. In my locksmith's case, they opened the door. I need to make a copy of the real key asap and hide-a-key it someplace unpleasant.

    Only recapped 50 min today, brining my 70 to 6. I sure wouldn't mind a 34/36...

Quebec was pretty nerve wracking -- I didn't know in advance the signs were all in French & not bilingual like Ontario. Most are pretty obvious, but still made me wish I had a better gps. Security knew as much english as I know french -- that was fun. Turns out a 1st-grade spanish vocabulary was more helpful than anything. Need to find a bookstore & get a french-english dictionary... French Canadian women though, merci. They can somehow make "slide your tandems to the back" sound so melodious...

And I noticed Canada doean't seem to have quite as large a difference between classes as the US -- didn't see a lot of obviously poor people, but not many ultra-rich either. Or maybe they just don't flaunt it with $150,000 German automobiles?

Your in Detroit (my home town), who needs keys.
Could have walked to the mall, plenty of thugs that would have popped your locks for 20 bucks.

    wulfman75 and paul_4lp Thank this.
