Conway Truckload Drivers what is your 20?

Had the Buff serviced at speedco in laredo.
Now it marks its territory wherever I park.
Apparently Detroit s have a plastic oil pan.
Over tighten the drain plug causes metal insert to twist causing a oil leak.
Requires s special tool to re crimp flange or drop the oil pan.
Mechanic said drain plug is so tight afraid of damaging insert trying to loosen it.
So until it gets to Joplin or Laredo. It shall drip.
If you have a new freight liner with a DD15 make sure they use a torque wrench to tighten drain plug.

 

Gretna, NE for the 8 portion of my 8/2 split, then on to La Salle, IL. With 42 hours remaining on my 70 after tomorrow's morning delivery, I'm hoping for a nice, long weekend hazmat run from cwf. Hey, a guy can dream...

What is the farthest anyone's been deadheaded home (paid) on the 8th day of your highlight?

im on day seven and it's seems FL freight must be slow -no dispatch yet

 

450ish miles. No freight ever goes to far norcal... (through it sure, but not to it).

 

What type of internet service is recommended for laptop that works well most everywhere?

 

I use my cell phone & the PDAnet app. With Verizon, it works pretty much everywhere except Canada and some stretches along the Texas-Mexico border
