West Memphis. Taking a 2 for some food and fuel, then to Atlanta. We'll see if they deadhead me home, as I am currently on day 10 of my hilite.

 

Hopefully you get a paid deadhead.

 

Maybe 5 tractors for the scores of trailers. I was preplanned out, but with the holiday I still have a day to kill before delivery.

I'd tend to agree.
Trucking is a 24/7 business. Ops, road service are here for drivers. Safety is not.

Yet again proof that they dont care or respect the drivers time.
It's unfortunate.
But its ok, they get their weekend and holiday.
Oh yeah one more paid holiday than drivers, and a extra week vacation, and a one more day a week earned off.

Seriously they made you come to Joplin over a blow out ?? We picked up a trailer in Laredo that supposedly just came out of shop only to have one of the tire blow out 100 miles from Laredo, I wonder if they'll send us to Joplin also
