Wow. I'm at Petro 10 miles east. I guess they got 74 closed.
Wow. And the driver just has minor injuries.

 

If the story hadn't include that fact about the driver just having minor injuries my guess would have been that he died.I would have peed myself if I would have been going down the road and that happen in front of me. LOL

If anyone is in Baytown,TX do not stay at the Love's I just read that they have a hostage situation going on right now, everyone stay safe oout there in this crazy world we live in and stay cool !!!

 

Another news article said the truck driver had his 7 year old son. He also escaped injury.

 

...just the good ol boys, never meaning no harm...

 

That was some out of Hollywood truck driving.
Special effects and all.
I have watched that video 100 times.
Thankful that driver and son are ok.
Can only think if the boy was in bunk and not strapped in.

Hostages at Loves in Baytown? Must be the driver wanted to go to the TA for dinner and they wouldn't let him leave! Dang! It wasn't very long ago that Baytown had the safe truckstops in Houston...guess not any more. McCarty Ave looks pretty good suddenly.

 

Gotta make sure to never stop at this Pilot again. I-95 XT 71 in Dunn, NC. only 3 showers, and none of them have toilets :/ I'm on my way up to Wal-Mart DC in Smyrna, DE. Then a short load from Trenton, NJ to Landsdale, PA. Then from Topton, PA to Laredo, TX! I love this new push on preplanning, 2500 last week 2500 this week, and 2000 already planned for next week!
