This home time, I was preplanned with a load. But, usually I have to wait a bit.

Yellow, I also have had to sit a couple of days on delivery so I know what your going through. Luckily, I got a hotel and kicked back. The bad news: even though I started my truck twice a day, my battery was run down when I got back to my truck. I'm thinking my refrigerator was the culprit. Luckily, there was a ts 1 block away that gave me a jump start. Hopefully I don't get back charged for it.

I miss having an APU. The entire time I was at Werner, I had a truck with an APU and an inverter. It was nice to just kick the APU on battery mode, and leave.

I wonder what winter is going to be like running the bunk heater, the inverter, etc. I hope the batteries last out a ten hour break. The other worry I have about winter is these single tires. I spin out in dry parking lots trying to pull out of a parking place, I can't imagine what it would be like with even a little ice. Has anybody had any probs in these areas?

With my dorm fridge & a bunk heater, the batteries will last 6 hours before killing power to the bunk heater. With the fridge unplugged, the bunk heater will last 8-9 hours. I just wish the truck would kill power to the inverter when the voltage gets low -- I've had to get a jump twice before I learned to turn off the inverter when parking more than 10 hours w/o idling.

The tag-axle is probably more responsible for spinning than super singles, but with the locker engaged & the tag axle's air bags dumped it does okay. Still not as good as a twin screw, but you can move around in light ice/snow on otherwise smooth pavement.

It'll unfortunately take half as long to load at Bud.
Never been loaded in a timely manner.
For us, we tender loads from broker, we don't have drop trailers, so live load.
    Bring a lunch.
Last load I did was 6 hours and 2 docks.
Then had 5 hours to unload in OKC.
