Is Surfer Joe trying to say the Freight drivers get free benefits, or did I miss read that ?? Because if he is he's wrong, my brother in law has worked for Freight for almost 9 years now and has always paid he's own insurance, yes it is cheaper but he still pays it, always Freight don't always have great weeks, it really depends on how business that yard is, my BIL works at the OKC yard and some weeks he works 50 something hrs lots of overtime and then other weeks he's barely pulling in 40 hrs, and he's one of the top guys there. Surfer Joe really just needs to butt out where he's not wanted. We understand you don't care for Conway, you think they lie and cheat, fine whatever move on and find someone else to bother !!

And I can't recall a post by you where you don't insinuate everyone else a liar. But I back up my claims and, as it happens, I mentioned one such freight driver in this very thread on July 13:

He was tired of dock work, sporadic hours, and $800-900. (gross) checks.

from the "stay away from conway truckload" thread:
Not fantastic, but hardly the wages you claim...

And before you call me a con-way cheerleader, let me remind you that the only person in this thread who ####### and moans more about con-way policies than me -- is you!

Alllll those hours to work with allll that parking on the 401 is rediculous

love Montreal !! It's been way too long , only once had a issue with customs on a "inbond" load
Where were low bridges ...never ran into any ... NO pun !

love loads out ...either lots lots miles going west or Vermont with NE pay!

Taylor considers that a good weekend load ...which is usally kinda correct!

Petro. Waiting on line to get my ginormous fuel filter changed.
Was just in Joplin. A little lax in my record keeping. Could have had it done when on time off.
The guy I so graciously let turn corner ahead of me of course pulled in line at service bay ahead of me.
It never pays to be nice.
This may interfere with breakfast buffet.

    Toronto, Montreal.
Those places sound foreign, do we still go there.
It's funny, way back in the days of having to go see brokers seemed to be less time consuming than the electronic age.
Do we still have to fill out A8A's lol.

In bay. Mechanic asks which fuel filters do I want changed. I'm like...all of them.
DD15 doesn't have typical spin on filters.
Big clear canister and a 3 piece drop in deal.
Now a scramble to find filters.
I just point across the street to the freight liner dealer. That's where I'd start looking.
Seriously going to cut into my breakfast buffet.
