Out of the shop -- 2 days for 4 batteries (RS declined to replace the dpf). Was sitting at the Aurora J not assigned anything until 1300 tomorrow. Conway truck next to me was waiting to complete an 0600 delivery before taking hometime so we got ops to turn it into a relay. No sense in both of us sitting all night...

 

Sitting in Port Allen,LA for the 30 min break, then onto Conroe,TX then finally Laredo,TX hopefully will be able to get in and out of shop (got to have coolant link fixed and a PM ) and then get a great load out of Laredo. Anyone know how Laredo is doing ?

 

Yeah, no.
We were backed out on 44.
So did next best thing.
Muskogee for Saturday night dirt track races.
Then McAlester to see my kid.
Now back to Joplin to go delv Ponca City Ok load in morning.
Ran more miles this weekend in car than truck.

My 34 turned out to be 50 to meet the new rules...not sure if I like your situation or mine better! Student tested out fine and got his truck in for a couple of minor details. Me, I am running around naked in my truck! I like students, but its always nice to get back to solo again!

Got sand-bagged by local (again). Choice of set out load in JOPMO to be in dallas by tomorrow or pick up tomorrow in Jopmo to Allentown, PA. No brainer. Tomorrow gets me a restart, 1100 mile, ne pay. I accept it, and the QC messages come in. Doesn't deliver for 4 days! Will be looking to move the appointment or relay the load.

 

Turns out the hard 0800 is a open window till 1600. Asked for 0900, not greedy, just spent the time, want the reward. Leave at 0515, still probably be there by 0830.
Now almost full 70 will provably bite me by not having full 11/14 as consignee has overnight parking.
Roll of the dice without pre plans.
But hey, I got routing. Not the best routing, I better check my map.
Anybody else have a map?

picked up my new truck in taylor yesterday, dont know which smelled worse the truck or the air in taylor. Had 2 drivers give me a shifting lesson on the 13 speed. the lesson was MUCH appreciated.
