Conway Truckload Drivers what is your 20?

Like to know if anyone has been in touch with double yellow. Apparently went in to have his gall bladder out. They'll probably require a full 3 month recovery since healing takes place @ 1%/day. Wouldn't want to get back to rumbling and bouncing, whole-body vibration prematurely.

 

I'm for apu's and pretty plans.... I know I'm dreaming.

Cartage pay of $20 ....
4 hrs up Stevenson and Dan Ryan + free shipper wait time... that's 80$ for a freight boy.

Thennn.... I get dispatched local dh.
(35 miles across where I came from to say Cicero...)
For free...
Then sit 2 hours....for free
Freight boy would be @ $120
....I get paid $20

And this is the same company....

You all know this happens.
Me 3 times last week... no Chicago but Dallas okc and kc.

This is what I love LA !!!
Multiple boroughs ...long beach is considered non local to Compton for instance....

Chicago you have to hit the heights before you get paid....

Only once have I succeeded in getting paid for this in shreveport.

#2 you let me park on Conway freight lots
....not outside on the street or in the employee parking lot. We are traded as the same stock so don't act like we aren't on the same team and looking to crash into or sue you.

I would also enjoy not being lied to by dispatch on windows for deliveries.

Being Sunday I figured wouldn't get a load till Monday.
I was willing to go to motel, but wasn't spending the $ till I knew for sure what I was doing.
Still no word, no reply to message.
So truck now idles and I note it in my journal. Waiting for the mpg phone call.
What are you doing to save fuel...
Like communication, it should be a 2 way street.
But like truckload and freight. 2 entirely different deals.

Doing a cartage relay from a broke down contractor.
Drop and hook. But have to wait for a dock to drop in.
Never a snap.

 

Disliking the time change to PT ...

got one ahead of me in the door , they are unloading , then reloading back out .

14 hr already down to 10.75
