After my reset in Taylor I got a typical Taylor load from the terminal up to Mississauga, Ontario. Live unloaded in Mississauga and went about a mile up the road and got loaded with destination of Monroe, Ohio. Problem was it took 7.5 hours in Mississauga. Had 1.5 hours left on my 16 and was barely able to fight the traffic and snowstorm to find a Shell T/S at km250 of the 401. I got off the ramp on the Last minute of my 16. Actually a nice T/S. Crawled about 20 miles on icy roads going in and about 10 miles of ice creeping out. Unloaded in Ohio today and taking my break at the J at mm171 in Kentucky, waiting on a relay that I run with at 08:00 tomorrow headed for Birmingham. It's actually balmy in the 60's today.

At CWTL, there are protocols to follow.
The proper thing to do, is contact fleet manager, fleet manager will check with CSR about resetting delv appt, or.check.with planner about a relay.
The customer may have service guarantees, the shipper or consignee may not be involved in.
It's best to follow protocol...duh omitted.lonewolf4ad, vmaggs and Runnin Thank this. -

SItting at the House, another week of SE regional,,,

I'm just waiting for a southwestern regional to open up. Really anything southern like the nice KW loads we get from TN to Calexico. I don't mind the northeast on occasion, but it is far from where I wanna be.

Flying J Bessemer, Al. It's 60 degrees, got the windows open, and relaxing. Unfortunately parked next to some jerk who feels like idling his truck is a right of passage (actually looks like he might be paying for the fuel O/O). And he also appears to have an air leak, apparent from the sound of the air governor heard every 60 secs. Ahh! The sweet sounds of the truckstop.
