LaVergne, for pick up in the am, heading to Virginia. Gotta get back down to I 10 where I belong! Baby trucker has had more mountains than any student in the history of the company...didn't get enough out west so we will take a run up 81. 4k miles to go for this one then I start heading for the house, may be the first thanksgiving at home in 3 years...

Chain laws up on Co I-70 both directions from the Eisenhower tunnel to Vail. More winter weather today and tomorrow.

Taking a few days off in Sacramento. Definitely my best week at con-way -- 3800 miles in 5 days. That'll be tough to beat with the new reset rules.

Anyone listen to the Conway earnings conference call (or read the transcript)? Looks like all freight units will have driver-facing cameras within a year -- I imagine truckload won't be far behind. They also have some sort of fuel mileage program (fuelops?) that they credit for a 4% improvement in fuel economy.

True, and they're not sleeping with a parted curtain to catch the breeze from open windows. For what its worth, it sounded like from the company's perspective the cameras were mostly to prevent/limit liability & damage claims from high-G events...

Think my battery has just about kicked the bucket. It almost doesn't start in the morning even when the whole truck is off over night.

I was sitting in a freight office waiting for my load to be put on the trailer last week 2 hrs late.

All the corporates were sitting there watching all the footage for the week of recorded drivers just a laughin it up.

Yellow I've done gave my opinion on fuelopps I've been in the program for 4 months. You'll love all their messages while you just fell asleep.

Miles sucked last week 1700 mainly around philly area.

    Miles sucked

    Pay sucks

    People in ops suck

    I suck

    We've all had these weeks...

    XD

Met a guy who works for freight that has diplomatic immunity. Pretty cool dude.

So need one of those cards.

Will view last week not as a waste of my life and potential $ lost but instead as I did not support those living needlessly on welfare as much. :D

Breen, who did you call to get a new Fleet Manager? Because mine is the exact same way your old one was, and I am beyond over it.
