It's matters ... Two slow weeks , then one good one , then ... Way to much time if I got home this weekend ...then to come out out Black Friday ..would put me in the RED !!

 

Upgraded the Baby Trucker and I went on to Michigan. Five loads came out of the customer I delivered to...planners didn't think it was wise for me to get zero deadhead miles on one of them so I went empty 127 mile back to Taylor. Drop one in Toronto tomorrow with a preplan out...could be same day but not getting my hopes up.

I just remembered the Italian word for Canada that my grandfather taught me....Uppa-U-S...that's the only Italian I remember

Don't think she slowed down to take a look at Railham...doesn't look enough like Jackson Brown. Glad they moved Winslow to AZ....it just didn't fit in in NM.

 

They said it was a DOT-accident -- that means its on his record (tow, injury, or fatality). Doesn't matter that it wasn't preventable. Apparently doesn't matter that he was parked...

Most companies won't care that much, but certain desirable private carriers won't touch him for 3-5 years. None of this is Con-way's fault -- just another example of FMCSA stupidity (keeping track of non-preventables to show those that are "accident prone")

 

I was right up the road from ya at Dixies on I55. Was shooting for Bloomington, looked out over the corn field and all I saw was a big wall...decided to pull up. I parked between two other rigs and still got bounced around pretty good. Didn't see a twister but knowing they were out there was all the thrill I wanted. That storm came thru so fast...one minute looked like I could make another 15 miles, next minute...boom.

 

I agree with ya...I had two friends call me to warn me about the weather, the weekend crew would have done a nice job if they sent out a ten word message or so...might have avoided one or two of those claims that were mentioned in the safety report. It just looked like a rainy day on my horizon until I got the warnings...Bet you were surprised know I have two friends!!! I crack me up...

 

Accident wise its on CSA score but it goes down as no preventable yes that sucks I got to non prevetabla in my career 1 I was sleeping in bunk other changes lane it to me
