Gotta love the truckers who live in fantasyland like ECU. He thinks just because he gets treated right, everyone else does too. Wake up, some people aren't out here just to play tourist. We are here to do our job, get paid for it, and go home to be with our families. That kind of attitude is the crap that makes this job even worse. Your the kind of guy that wouldn't help someone back up into a blindside dock I'll bet. I have yet to meet another driver at this company who claims they get 3000 miles a week and be home every weekend. You probably dont even work here.

Home weeks for me are usually a little over 2400 going and about 18-2100 coming out. Of course I also hilite from as far away as possible and live on the border. Also, are you only doing the 3 week minimum? Any company where you're constantly crying to go home is gonna look to other drivers with priority loads. Right now I'm at 1800 miles for the week following back to back 3000s. I'll deliver in the morning in Nebraska 1400 miles and only got it yesterday morning with 3 hours on my clock.
Service plaza in Indiana about the 125 on 80 -
I never cry to go home. I stay out a minimum of 5 weeks, so I can take 4 or 5 days off. Going home for 2 or 3 days is totally not worth it because of all the BS I go through to get there. Plus the fact that they usually make sure I am good and broke before I get there by just limping me home. I also highlight as far from home as possible. When I first started here I would wait to highlight until I was close to home trying to be considerate and it worked out back then. But slowly they started making me do all these little runs that didn't add up to anything and would keep me out just because they could. They would get me within a half hour of my house and send me another little couple hundred mile run, knowing I hadn't been home on a month.

Sounds like an issue you need to speak with your fm about. I've been running my arse off this past 3 weeks. The only thing that made this weeks miles low was our Mexican office screwing up a delivery appt so I got a 34 reset when I got to Jersey.
-
My FM is well aware of the problem, and she does a great job. I get pretty good miles most weeks but not when highlighted.

I had a similar issue getting home from Material my first time out, after that I called my fm and we had a little chat, since then its a non issue.

I've been out since Dec 26....did have plenty miles last week in fact I ran out of hrs...just hope for 2000 on going home so I don't starve lol....don't be mad at ECU if he's got a hook up on regional...just weird so called regional guys getting 3K+ and I avg 2300...
-
Paul, I've talked to other regional guys who get upwards of 2800, especially the so called southeastern regional. Of course they have been in places such as the northeast and Laredo when I talked to them. Conway has a funny idea about east/west lol.
-
Wait I know, have y'all been calling in when they ask your opinion of the company so far? and are you giving a good report? Everytime I do 1 of those surveys my miles get better lol.
