I take back everything I said about the planners 3 days ago.

Was empty, 40 mile from house and they dispatch to pick up in rock ledge fl to deliver to jax. the next day at jax, I was detained at cust for 8 hours...then they put me on a load from jax to Hialeah and preplan for home. Get to Hialeah, cust is closed. chilling in truck stop where even the restaurant is closed for thanksgiving. Had a subway on the company. Refused to have a turkey sub...will try cust in the morning.

Despite my UMS (ugly mood swing) still pretty thankful overall. You guys be safe. Will be back out on 12/5. Happy Thanksgiving gang. Be safe!

 

Speaking of that recording, I am a college grad and still don't know what a "differentiated capability" is. Can someone with a graduate degree or a ged help me out on this one?

Saw a real beauty yesterday. A truck with a little short container is backing into a hole in a truck stop. Another truck proceeds to do a set up for a hole a couple of spaces away. when he is set up, the short truck is covered by him. The short truck needed a pull-up but had to wait for the ignorant steering wheel holder to finish. The steering wheel holder was in one of our trucks! I was embarrassed to watch. At least he wasn't a former student of mine...whew!

It just means we have different/unique transportation offerings. LTL, truckload, international, and now intermodal. Whether they meant differentiated from each other or that Conway's range of offerings differentiates us from other companies remains unclear.
