It sounds better than it is. 2600 miles one week, 2700 the next. Lots of sitting waiting for appointments on the first part of week1. Besides, they're basically putting an arbitrary cap on sustainable running at 500 miles/day (3500/week). 3500/week isn't bad -- especially on recap, but to basically set that as the company maximum? Why? Who is John Galt?

sent me to fontana to grab an empty -- get within 10 miles and they send me back to LA for a load going to Sacramento. Get within 5 miles of LA and that load cancels and they send me back to Fontana. Grab the only remaining empty, do a pti & replace a tail light, send in a 13, and sweep it out. Hit the bunk for a few Z's because they can't dispatch me home until the miles fall off at 0001. 1 hour later they ask me to grab a different empty because they have someone that needs this one. None here, none in LA -- obviously they knew that or they wouldnt have assigned my empty to someone else... Told to sit and wait...

Relatively boring drive through the desert

Had flying j pizza for the first time since I couldn't find anything but cracker barrel open.

    Chili as well.

Gave a couple slices to my new swifty stalker friend headed to Crete. Rider policy let's them take their 4 yr old with them swift you have to be 12.... that's alllot of babysitting $.

Get to the i20 -i10 split and some guy wanted to ride beside me in the left lane . Pulls up abit I see him yacking on cb. Gets in front of me puts on brakes I pull out being heavy.

Mr cb tough guy local driver ( idk I don't run a cb but I'm assuming)
Goes to block me and hits my ###### mirror with his trailer. Sees it and proceeds to floor it away in his ungoverned truck.

    Yuuuupppp

    Pulled to shoulder
    Re adjusted mirror
    Continued about my day.

    My tolerance for stupid pwns.

Actually had the thought am I trying to get mugged? Lolz

That pizza is pretty good btw
    Pep
    Mush
    Pineapple
    Extra sauce.

Trying to figure out what the heck that seasoning on the crust is ....had it before....like a pretzel or somin.

    Anyway lookout for the idiots!

    Dallas tom....yay.....

A balmy 19 degrees in Detroit.
    Actually the suburbs.
Killing a couple days. Did black Thursday. Was hoping for a viral youtube fight video. No luck there. But did grab up a couple tvs.
Now just have to lug them around the country till I get them in storage.
Did my trucking with the after midnight crowd.
Now just a couple weeks and take my other week of vacation plus some extra.
No trucking just prior to Xmas thru New Year.
If I wouldn't loose my truck, I'd just take Thanksgiving through New Year off.
But then I tend to forget I'm not independently wealthy...look where I work.
You all be safe. Cyber Monday is just around the corner.

Yesterday at the Pilot in Russellville,AR there was a couple giving out free turkey dinners to all the truck drivers that pulled in, thought that was just awesome also on FB there's a page called Meals for 18 wheels, it was setup for anyone to post ur location to where u would be and peoplewould offer to bring u dinner, we spent out holiday in Brookhaven,MS now we're headed to Alexandria,LA then to TS in Beaumont,TX then we'll grab another load in Beaumont and take it to Laredo for Sunday. Anyone know how it's looking down there

Going down US 59 to Laredo ...part cause I was bored of I-10 traffic & part to save the 24 miles

as my mpg over the last 3 weeks in the cold has blown ( like the weekend/Joliday dispatchers )
