I really like that Con-way in Newburgh! Very easy to get to and tons of room to back (straight back). The people have always been really nice there too.

We are sitting in Laredo in our new (well new to us) T660 STUDIO SLEEPER!!!

Tired of always being cramped, I called up today and told them that as a team it was just ridiculous to have to be in an aerocab T660 and asked if we could be switched. After talking to 3 different people I finally got to a guy who said he might could help us. He said he would see if the would approve us to be switched and let me know something when he did. Expecting it to be days (at least) I went back to normal routine.

A few hours later he called back and said we had been approved and to call the truck assignment extension and talk to them about the when and where. When I called the guy asked when I was going and when I told him Laredo he told me they might have something down there (which we assumed would be either an International or Frieghtliner).

When he told me he thought my Christmas must of come late because they had a T660 Studio Sleeper with more than a year of team life still left in it, I couldn't believe it!

It took us awhile but we are finally moved in and the amount of space in this truck is incredible, where we had stuff spilling over everywhere in the old truck, we don't even have stuff for every shelf and cubby in this one.

The only bad part of the whole thing was it messed up our sleep schedules (I should of been trying to sleep atleast 3 to 5 hours ago) but it is soo totally worth it! Now we have room to get that truck cat we always wanted.

Went on the board first thing this morning after a great week at home and surprise! I will get one more night at home with the wife because my load picks up in Sparks, NV tomorrow at noon, 30 miles from the house. Then it is off to Terrell, TX for a Sunday delivery, not sure if there is enough time built into this load, hahaaa. Glad to be heading south and east as opposed to the usual direction towards Oregon or Washington when running through the house.
