Hi Katey, I'm new around here, but I've read some of your story about becoming a driver. It sounds like you guys were in the same situation as my girlfriend and I are in now. I've been a driver for a long time and she rides with me, but now she wants to attend driving school so we can run as a team.
How is it going for you guys so far? -
Hiya Jeremy
It is going pretty good for us so far. We have weeks like this week where our miles were pretty bad, only 3200 miles (due to weather shut downs), but we have really good weeks (6700, 7000, etc) where we run so hard we almost run out of hours too.
I would highly suggest Crowder College in Neosho, MO if she does go to school. It's great and it is also Con-way's preferred school. Con-way has a tuition assistance program for people who go through Crowder and they pay around half your expenses.
I don't have a lot of time to post at the moment (should be sleeping already) but if you have any specific questions you can PM them to me (or if you can't PM yet because of posts you can email me (Kateycakesss@gmail.com) and I will help as much as I can!
I should have more time to post on here tomorrow too its just today we spent all day hanging out with another team couple we know and I have to be up in 7 1/2 hours lol.
Take care,
KateyJeremyc Thanks this. -

Thanks Katey for the response. I'll definitely have some questions for you. Don't hurt yourself with all that extra time you have.
