Coolant leak Cummins isx

New guy here and new o/o as well. 15’ pro star Cummins isx 400 I believe the 2350 judging by some numbers I saw on the engine. Just noticed a leak Monday. I left and came back to a puddle. Just got the truck a month ago and have been only driving about two weeks. 455140 on the mileage. Leak appears to be coming from behind the crankshaft pulley as best as I can tell. Which in my experience I’d say is the water pump. But that’s on cars. So I’m asking. I’ll take some pics tomorrow in the light I’m actually running tonight. I can more than likely do the repair if I need to, once I get some time off I’m also trying to get some cash generated as well so.. and I have to pull the front of the dash off as well, the switches just started blinking and from what I’ve read I need to look for a frayed wire possibly or loose connection somewhere. Thanks for any help.

 

Just crawled up under it again while offloading, yep it’s coming out of the weep hole. Smh.. guess I’ll look for a write up or just jump after it. It’ll have to wait a few days. I’m off Saturday. ‍♂️

 

Finished the night early took about an hr and got the pump off.. would have take less time but the last bolt 5oclock position to some contortions to get to. Pump looks fine doesnt have any play or anything but the oring was worn, loose in one spot. Ill head to international tomorrow. #### pump is 700 bucks there, and freaking 220 online but I cant get it here till wed if I do that. (Online ordering)

The core is 70 bucks I'm wondering if I shoild keep the old one for a spare and just grab an extra oring...

 

So got the new pump, which comes with the complete housing, and I bought an additional oring. We'll try the oring on the old pump first.
