Coolant leak from atop transmission?

    tank is brand new and cap was fine.

    Pull into a loved. Grab a mechanic and off him $20 to find the leak. I do it all the time

    i would but i dumped my entire coolant tank on the ground so im a wee bit stuck on the side of the road lol

    DD 15 has a block right there where 3 coolant lines go to various places. Mine leaked pretty good. It was the fittings.

    Don't know lay out of paccar motor.

    OR

    It's the EGR cooler.

    DD15 that have DPF have def coolant lines that act as a heater for the DEF. Mine leaked at some point.

    Looked like it was leaking bacon to me.

    Ended up having to get a tow ill let you know what the dealer says tomorrow. Hopefully its not some variation of "it will be 6 months to get that fitting with a 12 year wait for service

    i have 3 spares and this cap is diffrent. Old one had the paint worn off the markings. This one is obviously new.
