I think it is too tight. FL has anal specs for torque ratings on anything under the sun/hood.
I remember the upper coolant hose leaking once, went to tighten it and it wasn't even "tight", more like just barely enough to get the job done. It felt like I could just yank on the end of the hose and pull it right off the radiator without much effort.
might need a new hose...And take it easy, 14-20 foot pounds? probably 12
just a guess...

Glad you found out the radiator is bad.
But also you will be needing a new reservoir as the old bottle once bad protocol is just to change the radiator.

Nothing wrong with a Cascadia with DD engine... Got 550,000 on my 14 only thing I had to replace is the starter and radiator... It works hard on lease roads in the oil field all day..

I’ll give an update on the SS constant pressure clamps, just had one snap, Broke right in the middle of the band. Lower hose at water pump. Never saw that before, been on there 4 + yrs.
