    Hello fellas,

Recently I had the u pipe by the egr replaced, it was broken. After couple of days i noticed the coolant by the other (longest) pipe leaking. Lost about a gallon of the coolant, but there was no temperature rising, nor any ecm code showing any problems. The truck is volvo 2007 d12 engine.

While the tech was changing the shorter pipe, he may have busted the clamp? or I am looking for a leak from the egr coolant.

Is it there something i can fix or i am looking in $$$$ repair bill?

    Thank guys.

It doesn't look to tough if you can get a camera in there you should be able to fix it, It looks like it should have been fixed at the same time? I wish you luck in whatever you do. Be sure to do it when the engine is cold, 2 reasons you won't get scalded and saving the coolant that normally flows when the thermostat is open. Be Safe.

If you have coolnat leaking from the clamp you have pointed in picture and nothing above is wet ,i would take the clamp off and see if you have coolnat inside, if you do its a egr cooler leaking.

I agree with 05vnl670. That pipe should be dry. If there is any coolant, you need a EGR cooler

Thank you guys for the reply, since I had problems with the starting the vehicle (#### Volvo) I went to the dealer and they changed the starter and for the leaking the coolant issue, the problem was with the pipe and the clamp !?, any way, I am going with the logic that is better to spend (waste, throw away ,...) thousand of dollars to mechanic then tens of thousands screwing something up myself.
