I had many series 60 before. long time ago I bought a truck with series 60. the truck had green coolant inside and the mileage was around 650k. I changed the coolant to red elc and mount a go I got problem like yours. I guess red elc cleaned corrosion between cylinder and block , little space opened and got sunk cylinder. next purchase was a o/o truck with 250k m mileage. I kept adding extender and changing coolant every 300k. that truck has now 1.7m miles.. overhauled at 950k. when we pulled cylinders we saw clean surfaces between block and liners.

I am tired looking for a good mechanick. Next I will rent a commercial parking lot with shade and get all the tools, software and anything I need and just work on my truck.

I will also need a fork lift and some chain, to remove the cylinder head, radiator and etc.

Verdel all you need is big size pickup truck with crane mounted on back and compressor, parking lot, tools , sun shade and workshop manuals. I can help you with manuals. but there is no need get hands dirty for brake job or wheel seal replacement because in area where you live you can find good street mechanics who can do the job fast, cheap and with quality. if you will have a problem with drive line(clutch, trans, rears) let me know. I know good , fantastic fast place in long beach area. They can remove, fix and put back you trans within 3-4 hours ))). Your logo shows Hollywood Hot Rod. Are you from Burbank area right?

Found a local mechanic, he charges $3500 labor for inframe + the parts = $3480 inframe kit, $1050 rebuilt injectors, $950 for machining and checking the cylinder head, $650 for cutting the block cylider holes to bring them to spec, buying 0.030 mm shims from Detroit Diesel.

He also said your timing was off by 7 teeth ????? How is this truck ran 200k miles like that???

I would recomend to replace bullgear too, to avoid engine failure later.
