You can see if your state has a dot location page on Facebook. I know a few do

 

I deleted it out of my phone cause it kept messing mine up. Like Bullhaulerswife said it goes off driver input so some may be showing closed when they are open. Could be from someone being cute or just not updating it after passing.

 

Between it and the CB I usually get a accurate answer.

 

i also get a accurate answer between the cb and the app. and the answer is usually accurately NCORRECT.

i don't even both with the app anymore. specially since it told me my trial expired.

 

What I have found with the CB and the app is people only comment/ update if it's something different then they think, I.E scale closed at midday, most often it's only closed for a few minutes while being and that's when someone updates, to work well you need to watch for as long as possible while approaching the scale, if it's marked as closed 150 miles before and gets updated every so often as closed then most likely it is, if it's going from open to closed, then chances are it's open.

 

what i dont understand is how all those little weight stations, that all the time are closed, being updated so often by truckers within last 1 hr? i have never seen a weight station in this app that was updated more than 1 hr ago. That looks suspicious.
