Ya, having the GPS as a smartphone app was a major reason I purchased CoPilot... and it's always with me, if my iPhone is with me, unlike having a stand alone GPS which is always in the truck.
Just wish I could trust it more in the trucking GPS area, but we will see after I delete and do a fresh install.
CoPilot is now on sale

If you have the car app AND the truck app. YES there will be glitches.
They'll use the same map. But the 2 apps seem to blend in together.
After uninstalling both apps. I plugged in to my computer and completely deleted the folders and maps. Then reinstalled the truck version only.
As far as low bridges and weight restricted roads and no truck routes. Mine work very well in not directing me where i didn't belong. Unless i tried to take a short cut somehow, somewhere. Then, more often then not. I was screwing myself. -
