if anyone is interested. the premium is $6.99 with 1 year active traffic. $2.99 without.

don't know what the truck app costs. but your NOT going to get a car gps that cheap. and it's a one time fee. i have yet to pay AGAIN.

copilot is both phones and tablets. and ios. they also have a computer version. and an actual hand unit that is trucks.

i have the truck app. bought it 2 1/2 years ago. it's the ONLY gps i've been using since my 2 week trial with another famous brand.

i trust it, i have no problems following it. and going blindly with it. my atlas does nothing but collects dust. and it's not designed for in town. been that way for 2 1/2 years. only time i have a problem with it. is when i try to make my own decisions. and i seem to be the only member on this forum NOT complaining about my gps. google maps gets used as a backup when copilot can't find the address.

it's a full fledged program. the entire map is downloaded. no internet is required to use it. unless your using the active traffic.

but it's a car gps. cheap enough to try. but smarts WILL be required. you WON'T find a car gps that cheap.

the truckers app and car app use the same maps. the truckers app, however, gives you trucker tools and settings.

it's very easy to use. and it's very cheap. i don't know why more of you aren't using it.

to be honest. walking around on foot. not knowing where i'm going. don't work for me. :biggrin_25519:
