CoPilot Truck, installed on iPad 9.7, my experiences

I used to use both CoPilot and RM... for some reason CP would not give me Quality Truck Routes (ie run me right through ATL instead of around town)... so I used CP for some of the routing options but then relied on RM to keep me Truck Legal... it worked for me.

I might be going OTR again soon and dusted off CP to get used to it again but they updated the UI and it all seems a bit foreign to me. And it won’t pull in an address from my Contacts no matter what I do.

So I guess I will delete it and reinstall fresh and see if that helps.

Oh, about truck routing, right before I got off the Truck it was thought that maybe my account was originally set up as a “car account” so it was stuck there when I upgraded and invested in the Truck version... and they could not reset my email account to Truck... I was getting off the truck soon after so I never tried setting up a different email... and it pisses me off that I would have to even consider creating another stand alone email “Just For CP”.... but I may have to now that I’m going back OTR.

 

If I remember correctly, I just locked my iPhone time zone to my terminal time zone... I think CP just uses the phone time for its time... but I could be wrong but worth a try.

I just adjusted all drop/pickup times to the Eastern Time Zone instead of worrying if/when I changed TZ.

 

I don't know your method. Seems pretty complicated.

I've always just saved my current location. Pretty easy.

 

Well, two months ago I contacted Support about not being able to grab addresses from my Contacts. Was told it was a known issue and an update was coming in the next couple weeks. Well, 8-10 weeks later and still no update.

Last update was over a year ago.
Thinking they killed this product???

 

There's been an update. I don't know how many since I haven't needed it for a while now. (Local).

Don't know if it's what your wanting though.

I've also noticed there's 2 truck apps for copilot in the play store.

 

Well, Copilot’s Customer Service continues to disappoint me... can’t get an address to load into CoPilot from my Contacts. CSR asked for me to send screen shots... I did... only reply I got was “I tried it on an iPhone and it worked”

Then today, got an automated response about if the last response fixed the problem we will close this ticket.... LOL

Of course I responded... lol

Geesh... so sad.
