I have no clue I don’t do politics or news. I like to focus on the real things in life. I drive the truck and I get paid. All that other stuff is distractions and misdirection.

The World Health Organization estimates that worldwide, annual influenza epidemics result in about 3-5 million cases of severe illness and about 250,000 to 500,000 deaths.

That's a 10% mortality rate in SEVERE CASES only. Completely meaningless in comparison.

Two things we know about C-19. 1) it's more contagious than the flu. 2) It's as deadly as the most severe forms of the flu (Spanish flu, H1N1, etc).

Not a happy combination.

Hong Kong China is one of the most densely populated places on the planet with 8 million people, and since the virus first showed up there in January they've had one death. Mainland China started throwing everybody in quarantine facilities if they were just suspected of being sick, and now they have tens of thousands infected and most of their economy is shut down which is why the trucking industry has slowed here.

I'm taking precautions like not hugging my elderly parents when I see them once a week, but otherwise I'm not losing sleep over it.
