Ok, I've seen a couple of posts showing places that are lending a hand to drivers during this tough time and everywhere closing the doors. Making it hard for drivers to find a place for a good meal. I thought it might be a good idea if we had a central place to put all those for people to find. Wasn't sure it should go in the TTR Corona Virus area. So I thought I'd start this thread to put them.

So if you were one of the people who posted the 3 I saw already. Please drop them in here. Or if you know of such a thing please post it here.

The one I remember off the top of my head was the Texas Roadhouse Restaurants making drivers welcome and they'll even carry it out to the truck for you.

    jammer910Z and D.Tibbitt Thank this.

Sure, I'll play. Here's the one I heard about:

    The Lucky Steer Says:
Know a truck driver who is on the road right now? Tell them to stop by exit 111 on 75 and go to Lucky Steer Restaurant . We have a big parking lot for them to park and eat their carryout. We will give them 40% off of their check total. The country needs their help right now and we want to say thank you!!

In my years , I have had about a 50/50 chance of getting walk up service at a drive thru . Have not tried it since this mess has started.

I try to avoid fast food anyway.
    It's a guilty pleasure/vice.
    Like smoking. I can't quit.

Back when I was a cab driver we didn't have cellphones, all radio dispatch. So you had to stay by your car or you might miss a good fare. I ate enough drive through back then to make me queasy to this day.

Well, this isn't so much a place as it is a person.
This little lady deserves a Big Thank You and she got one from me this morning.

I stayed at the Petro on i90 just west of Spokane last night.
I got up early this morning and went inside to buy some stuff (because I slept in their lot and that's the way I was raised!).
I went to the counter at 4am and the cashier looked BEAT.
I asked her if she was tired and she smiled and said she was "so ready to go to bed".
Talked to her for a minute and found out that she'd been on duty FOR US for almost 24hrs because so many wouldn't come in.

She was going above and beyond, and I sincerely thanked her on behalf of us all.

THANK YOU, MAKAYLA @ Petro Spokane, Wa !

Good idea. I'll do that right now.
Sitting in a hotel, just started a 34.
    Pay it forward.
