I deliver paper products for Georgia Pacific, I’m thinking about asking for a raise!

If I had a choice, I’d stay home and get caught up around here. But reality says, got to work. I’ve slacked off quite a bit, last two years. It’s cost me a lot in lost revenue. No regrets, just time to work. Only way to get ahead in this Bussiness is being steady, a little at a time. No get rich quick possibilities. Service Industry, have to do the work.

You can have it for 2 days, and spread it to others, before you have symptoms.

I just looked that up, and it says while biologically possible, there is no data to back it up yet. I don't doubt it, but if that's the case should everybody in the US self quarantine until the threat is over? Not sure that would solve our problems. It certainly would create a lot of problems.

    Really?
How many people do you have to interact with as a trucker?
    Shipping/receiving. And that's it.
Fuel at the pump. Probably biggest threat is the truckstop. Get in and out as fast as possible.

Truckers are the most "socially distanced" workers around. So why the fuss.
The hype is what amazes me. Fear driven. You can get it staying at home from a family member whom goes to the store, and someone sneezes... You can get the common flu that way as well....

    Really?
You really want to kick people when they are already down?
Try helping instead. Maybe the image of truckers would get a boost.
If you want to complain about HOS, you probably already missed the boat.
