corona virus...this is no joke!

1st off we didn't block all travel from China. There were planes landing every day. He said he did it's just like he says he does a lot of thing that never happen.. Much worse is the planes that were still landing they didn't test any of those people. They claimed they had to go into quarantine but there was zero enforcement of it..I mean March 12 or 15 I forget but he was claiming a million tests by that weekend then 500k more a few days after.. That never happened. In a presser 2 days ago he again claimed a million tests had been given.. ummm No they haven't.. We are no where near a million tests..

The simple fact is out govt failed to act.. now we are paying the price..

 

you've actually just proven WHY they didn't do it. Because the sheep mentality of most people would have caused a nation wide panic. The TP hoarding and empty shelves would have been going on from back then. We'd really be in a crap storm right now.

Any leader with a brain knows to slow roll out something like this. So yeah they had the info. But they slowly spoon fed it out to let things build rather than break the dam with a flood.

 

Yes of course China knew it was worse than they were telling us but why don't you take that same stance with our own leader who downplayed it all way until 2 weeks ago? He clearly knew better it's not like he was suddenly surprised, but instead of reality, he looks at everything as personal attack on him so that's how he responded to it....he pretended it was all fake news and a plot to get him.. He tried to use his standard play book that he uses for every other scandal except this time it means people die...

So if you say China's actions to cover it up were bad then why was our own leader's actions to cover it up not bad in your mind?

 

I hope you listened when the med director of nyc in january told people to go and celebrate the chinese new year with the poor chinese who were being labelled and targeted because of mean ol trumpy pants.

 

The mayor of New York was as recent as the 2nd week of March was still saying to go out to dinner, movies, and you’ll be fine. But y’all want to trash the President for not doing more in January while fighting a sham impeachment trial. When he does do something like block travel from China he is a racist. Y’all haters are blinded by your own hate and sure have short memories.

 

What math is that? Reports are coming in that these 2 medications are effective.

 

let's be clear, that malaria medication is not a cure, it simply helps lessen the severity of it and helps get better faster. It is the antibiotics that are actually curing the virus. Think of it like Zicam for the common cold. That being said, places like where I live, FL, the infection numbers are doubling every 3 days. So while that medication will help, possibly, lower the mortality rate. It is doing nothing to stop the spread of the virus.

 

Not choosing sides here, but it is a fact that when the president initially indicated that he wanted to shut down foreign flights from China, he was called a racist and shouted down. Hindsight, that's exactly what we should have done until we got a viable plan in place.

It is also a fact that during the onset of this, the NYC med director publicly encouraged people to go out and celebrate together in NYC, big mistake.

This is not the time or place to politicize. What we need to do now is put the hate aside and all join together as Americans and fight this invisible enemy as best we can by helping one another.

When this invisible enemy is finally defeated, and it will be, we will still need to work together if we intend to rebuild our economy and our country.

Personally, I dislike the current self-serving leadership in both parties, but I digress....

 

There were no cases in the US in Jan... dude you are trying too hard. There was a time for the Federal govt to start acting and it was much, much earlier than it did.. Waiting until 2 weeks ago to "kinda" taker it serious was not soon enough... State govts couldn't shut down events that early when here were no cases...

Even right now the federal govt is failing to act. Our leader is blaming hospital staff for stealing medical supplies as a excuse for their shortage. Meanwhile he sits on a stockpile of supplies while he refuses to release. We have a nationwide stockpile of ventilators in the range of 100k units..

NY has been sent between 400-600 from that stockpile. Cali was sent 170 and every single one was broken. Louisiana and Michigan are both begging for them but they've been sent none. Illinois stated yesterdays that they are no longer letting the federal govt manage the testing in their state because it's been slow and not enough. They are having to do it themselves which is the same thing WA, OR & NY all had to do because the Federal govt leadership was not acting..

Sunday out govt leader stated that it will be a good job if only 100-200k people die.... That's what was said in the Rose Garden on Sunday... Are you guys awake yet?

 

You might want to recheck your facts. US had first reported case on Jan 20th.
