corona virus...this is no joke!

I agree with you , other virus kills more people than Corona virus , however, those people who die are mostly poor people
Who don’t have the money to pay for medical care . For the Corona virus there is not vaccine.
5 years ago B Gates warned us about a pandemic and he stated that USA wasn’t prepared for something like this . But we are the best country in the world , right ? We spend in our military more than any other country in the world , so who cares if people die , right ?

 

And if one of the 200 was infected how many caught it from them..

 

I never get the flu shot . Yet rarely get a bad flu only mild ones . Lucky or Is my immune system better because I don’t takes medicine for every ache and pain

 

I’m gonna do my job for at least 3 weeks. Was gonna take a month off anyway in mid April. I don’t have to work, I can afford to go home. But I’m gonna do my part and help, but I have stuff todo next month. Might be perfect timing

 

I think the current shortage will only last 2-3 weeks. Eventually when stores get stocked up, no one will be buying anything for a while. The fallout on the economy is real. Better make $$ while it’s available. But what do I know, no more than anyone else. Just my thoughts. Time will tell.

 

Depends on the surface it's on also. According to the NIH(National Institute of Health..

While there may not be a vaccine yet, they are trying other drugs, to see if it helps. One created as a vaccine for Ebola but it didn't work for Ebola. Seems to be working for some who are given it tho.

Use commonsense out there. Glove up if your sketched out while stopped. Wash your hands with soap, Don't go getting in someones personal space, or making out with lot lizards. Also easy to keep a couple things of soap on board. If you need water, get a refillable bottle an fill up at rest areas as needed.

Bright side : Amazon is supposedly hiring up to 100k for delivery and warehouse. 7-11 is hiring something like 20k if i remember the article right. Walmart s supposedly looking to hire 150k temp workers.Domino's, Kroger, Pepsi are all also hiring. Lots of folks with out jobs currently.

I’ll keep going to work as long as I’m healthy, and if I get sick I’ll be back in 2 weeks. My country, my community, and my family needs me to keep these essential companies going. But I agree, the non-essentials need stop shipping so we can dedicate our service to the right place. No one needs a lamp, a dresser, or wire cable right now. They need food, water, medicine (toilet paper) right now.

 

I don't think it matters rich or poor.

If you cannot get a ICU bed and a ventilator with a high pressure oxygen concentrator installed around your head to flood your body with pure oxygen you are probably going to die by soffication soon enough while choking your lungs out. The only other saving grace would be a hyperbaric chamber and I only know of three in the USA. UAMS, Crowley Baltimore and US Navy Academy Medical. (For divers) You do have portable hyperbarics but they go through a obscene amount of oxygen on site.

The one possibility is Pneumonia Shots for bacterial Pneumonia defense. It may provide a measure of defense when the body quits trying to burn out the COVID19 and then begins to shift to flooding it out of the lungs while you drown in a bed on dry land.

 

If anyone needs a ventilator I can rent out my CPAP. We can turn the pressure up and its basically a ventilator !

We know when we start doing more test they will find people that already have it now and don't even know it. So people should not panic when the news run wild with how many have it and the numbers are going up.

Our bodies can fight the virus people act like we need a vaccine for everything. The flu vaccine is only like 30% chance of being right every year. They guess what the flu strain will be every year and only hope they guess correctly.

It does seem like a double standard with trucking company. Now they only want us to call dispatch. You can go see anyone in person. Then we are suppose to stay on the road driving. They bought laptops for all the dispatchers so they can work from home now. Seems that their plan anyway.
