corona virus...this is no joke!

Guys there seems to 2 very extreme ends to the views on this virus. Either it's a nuthin burger pr an end of the world plague.

Can we maybe meet in the middle? Cuz it is for sure worse than the flu but it's not ebola. Plenty of people on here have loved ones that are in the at risk catagory. Either due to health or age. They've now found that even younger people are suffering more than other age groups. Though not death.

How hard is it to say I'll take a small amount of extra precaution. Like washing my hands more, getting tested if I feel your sick, self isolating if I get it, letting others know who I might have infected...etc. To mitigate the risks of infecting myself or those closest to us. Stock up on itemsn within reason. In case we're asked to stay in place for 2 weeks. Just a few simple common sense things.

 

I know that. Where did I say “all” i’ll be the first to admit I ain’t in the best shape. I mean I do try to eat good and get in a little exercise so I’m not being a hypocrite here. just sayin a lot of truckers aren’t the prime example of health.

 

Things are about to get worse. Air traffic controllers in major airports are getting sick. There's already a shortage of qualified controllers. Air travel is about to shut down.

This Chinese virus is not a death sentence.
There are 300+ million people in this country and around 25K have it. And those that are hospitalized or die from it are older and have underlying health problems.
I hate to see what next winter will be like. I guess the country will cease to exist?
