    Hi guys,

looking to purchase a 2015 Freightliner Coronado, DD15 505 hp, 13 speed w 24.5 tires. Any idea re what mileage to expect pulling dry van or reefer loads max at 80k lbs? also it has 150k miles & no warranty, can you suggest any extended warranty company that is somewhat reliable? Thanks for any/all your advice and input.

Why no warranty, seems the miles low not that old. Something doesn't seem right. Normally what 3 years 300000 miles from factory

I thought Freightliner with a Detroit came with a 3/300,000 or something like that. Was this a glider?

    702Haulerz Thanks this.

With that gear ratio and 24's, you could probably maintain 1250, (sweetspot) at around 64-65 mph. I would suspect you would get between 7-7.5 mpg in that range. Any more than 1200-1300 rpm and mpg will drop.

    702Haulerz Thanks this.

Not a glider, I verified with local dealer re remaining coverages also!!! I've heard some positives about TruNorth for extended warranty but also a lot of declined claims stories so still undecided.
