We had a local drug store, a little tiny place. pick up a couple of minor over the counter stuff.

What do they do? Put us in drive through. Oh great. Wunnerbar. I need to be PRECISE and did not have that precise brand and stuff.

The staff lady goes in brings out a arm load of everything this? No, that? no, over there/ YES that. Asked for another OTC medicine. She brings out more of everything. This? no, That? No over there? No, what about YES... already here is my money hurry up.

At bank today. Main branch was buried in drive through mobbed. (Friday payday) lobby shut appt only. Nuts, That means i don't get to see my favorite teller.

We go to another Branch. TINY TINY TINY little one in the hole in the wall. And what do you know the drive through speakers are crappy. What do I do?

Stand between car and main plate window shouting to the town around me what I want in dollars. Starting with the question what is your cash limit?

The grocery store.

They have painstakenly put foot prints all over the entry way bays. 6 feet apart.

Then covered the ENTIRE STORE FLOOR in red squares. You are supposed to stand in that square away from others. We gathered over a small selection of meats and here comes cowboy.. sir, stand there. Ma'am stand here you get over there. and you here. Now may I help you?

We buried in for 10 minutes having him shuffle everything for us by hand. No gloves either.

The minutae of our questions started angering him. He hates detail work.

See if he quits later that day when he has had enough and loses his temper.

While that is going on Mr Mask had wet cough. 4 of us took off like bolted stampeding cattle. So much for that.

Went into the third store. This time thankfully normal. A small store mind you walkways not hardly enough room to turn around in. Here is 8 people end to end stuffed along both sides trying to get little cans of this or that out of there.

I come along into one end intending to go to checkout. They see my huge N95 mask and try to melt into the shelves as if I was a killer angel.

Come on now people... lighten up...

I Stomped into my house.

Cooled off a minute then started establishing direct accounts to factory for paper products and others. Who ship direct to my door.

The insanity will elevate further tomorrow in the morning at sunrise for walmart system wide. What do they want to do?

Rationing has started. I did score 6 soup cans out of two cases on shelf. And I had a staffer glowering over me counting with his eyes, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.

How bout you count 1 and 2 and stop. Thats 24 cans. no 2 items, they happen to be cases. Go away and don't bother me.

But no I took 6 and left the rest. Normally I take cases.

Those orders for next month will go out, they can burn the local grocery store for all we care.

Cambells has a new direct order customer. Just as soon they come around to having stock to ship to my door among others.
