That's not a movie I want to see, much less star in!
Chaps Thanks this. -
Maybe Modular Trans out of Wyoming, Mich they have a terminal in
Mississippi! Flatbed, they pay you and your families insurance and
when training you stay in a Motel. No hotrack according to their website.
Not sure of the hiring area down near you. Might be what your looking for. -
Op if you wanna pursue this career then suck it up.Companies will not give you and trainer a room unless you are broke down. With respect as a wannabe driver you're asking for a bit much. When trk is in motion and you're on your 10 hr brake you will have to sleep in the trainers bed, lower bunk so be prepared for that.
G.Anthony Thanks this. -
Just wow. Unbelievably you want your own room bahahhaah that's best joke I've herd. Want your own room buy your own truck and insurance will be insane with no experience. But that's the only way you'll ever get your own room.
Or jus suck it up its only 3-4 weeks not 18 months sleeping with 50 plus. And having to building your own spank tank or jus using port ####### to help ease your tensions. not to mention all the heat and rocket attacks but that is completely different set of problems not needed to worry about those In trucking which is why I like it so much. -
Guys, I didn't just come up with that list out of thin air. Those were all things I had read drivers experiencing in this forum. Since item 1 seems to be getting all the attention, here's the thread that showed me at least one company doesn't demand sleeping in the truck when training, and as far as I know, both trainee and trainer are male:

Yeah Superior trucks are single bunk. Trainers have CLC cards they use for trainee rooms. They also pay for hotels for 34 hr resets away from home if you want one.
flyingmusician, david123abc, Chinatown and 1 other person Thank this. -
I like the comments about tankers being a rolling bomb and you will probably die in a fireball. I pulled tankers for several years and never once needed a "Flammable" placard. We also got hotel room for 34 hr. reset or $50.00 drivers choice. I always took the cash.Leviathan Tube Thanks this. -
Actually, Superior offers drivers all three items on the list. Motels, idle policy and benefits after 30 days, if what I read is accurate. Just wondering if any other companies do the same.
