I love reading about any symptoms I might have...LoL. Especially from the Mayo Clinic. Got an itchy butthole? It might be butt cancer. Do your feet fall asleep sometimes? Its probably spinal cancer. It's like the Orca Winfrey show for cancer. You get a cancer and you get a cancer and YOU get a cancer. EVERYONE GETS A CANCER!!! (crowd goes wild)PE_T Thanks this. -
I remember before they removed my appendix, they performed about 5 different tests. I thought to myself, “What if they remove my appendix, and it doesn’t solve my health problem.” Luckily, the appendix surgery worked. I have never had that strange tummy pain ever again since then.HoneyBadger67 Thanks this. -
Your company and customers will spend 200% of any and all slack time you may have on a trip but they still expect you to be on time. Some drivers try to make up for wasted time of delays by sacrificing any and all time they control. If it's important to you you can make time to be a human. It takes almost no effort to shaower every other day. It takes just a little effort to shower every day. But you should be wise about when and where you stop to perform basic bodily functions. If you plan on taking a shower about dinner time (late afternoon meal) you will always wait for showers. I rarely wait for a shower ever. When I do wait it may be 5-30 minutes.
You don't have to leave P bottles laying around and never need to throw them out of the window. Being filthy and lazy will prevent you from keeping many jobs, but not necessarily keep you from being a truck driver. You can be as clean and responsible as you choose. -
The OP should not rule out trucking as a career just because some drivers are slobs. Every profession has its stereotypes. Truckers are rude and they stink. Mechanics are all dishonest. IT personel are all socially awkward dorks. CEOs are all greedy. Etc etc.
