Could I lie about my experence

    Any good background check will bust that lie. Remember, once you're caught, you're caught forever. I think you should just tell the truth.

    The application that has to be filled out at orientation, and any contracts that has to be read and signed. And of course, the new HOS, logbook, elogs...etc.

    It was better in the old days 5 years ago .Now a days it though thats why I ask . My grandfather use to put a case of beer on the passanger seat for CF and the boss use to call my grand mother up to pick him up he was to drunk . Now u cant even lookat a boss the rong way . I am not sticking up for my grandfather but times changed .He 91 and still drinking and talking about the road.

    If I do work for a co for a year . Tell the truth everything . Could I use my 15 year for my next job after a year . I need a lawyer truck driver .stay safe and good night out there

    I am not quite sure if I understanding you. You are saying you have 15+ years of experience? And they still want to pay 35 cents a mile? Excuse me, but let me ask you this- did you apply to th ecompany based in California? Cause, I know that Illinois companies are the most generous, and if you want to make a buck, you should go with those in IL. Just a small tip. And you are welcome!

    I had 15 pluse with newpenn,yellow, motorcargo good jobs teamster for around 8 years first job HO wolding .But I took a 5 year brake to try real state did good .Want to get back into a truck for a while, giving me a hard time because of the 5 years . I worked on the dock for ups when i was 18 ,mistake qwit to party with freinds. ago 22years. had good jobs cant get a shxx now.

    Probably shouldn't post on trucking forum about a lie. Employers check that. Also, you could be sued after you crash a truck if you lied on the application about driving experience.

    Side note, they are one of the best paying, have good equipment and same turnover rate as the rest of the industry.
