Yea, Brandson, I realized after posting i could've put a little more info in but i had to run. So i was hoping people could work around me not putting in that I'll be graduating a driving school next month and I live in central NY. other than those two things i think it's a pretty basic question. I know all about the new guy starts out at the bottom since I've been running a roofing crew for 17 yrs or so. The thing is that being so i have more than the average 25 yr old who's starting out and need valid input on companies who can closest to accommodating those 2 things previously stated AND being able to maintain my obligations. I'll make adjustments once i get as much helpful information as i can. Thanks for the input tho

A lot of flatbed companies get you home every weekend and many ltl companies. I heard you dont want any more hard labor but after roofing unloading a truck can be easy. there are a lot of retail and food service jobs begging for drivers with an organized work ethic. You can be one of the make a good living be home every weekend driver right off the bat. I pretty much was.

I'm not trying to sound mean or defensive, bit being middle aged with work experience is not even close to rare out here. You're going for a job that most trained, monkeys could handle, and the average age of drivers is over 50. Young guys like me are in demand, lol.
