hey there know....welcome to the group....your biggest problem is going to be that you don't have the 2 yrs verifiable experience unless you drove a truck local like a dump truck or such.......you may have to start over and get retrainned.....jobs are tough and companies are getting picky now.....you may try getting on with a small local outfit and get your boost that way .....best of luck....

I don't know anything about your specific area, but I do know that the Sage Technical Services schools offer refresher courses. I just finished their school south of Mount Airy, NC. I know that they have a school in Spindale, NC which is between Asheville and Charlotte on I-40. If you can't find anything closer, you might want to check with them. They are associated with Isothermal Community College in Spindale.
