That net is to restrain lot lizards when they get squirmy lol -
But seriously, when I did my time with Covenant back in '13, we drove as a team right out of the gate. Me and my trainer, not two trainees.
I cant imagine the horror of three folks in a truck -![]()

DOT regulation or it sure use to be. Covenant might be y'alls cup of tea but not for alot of driver's.
-
Then by all means, show me the reg, because I've searched the book, and the only regs on bunks I can find is that if used while in motion, they must have a net. That means either bunk. The rule about it is based on the company you work for, not the dot regs.
-
Did i not say it sure use to be DOT regulations? why are you wanting to argue about stuff you know very little about? If you want to sleep in that top bunk with the truck rolling then by all mean's have at it.austinmike Thanks this.

Ive always thought ridiculous sign on bounuses and complicated saftey performance saftey bounuses , is just smoke and mirrors, just pay a decent wage upfront , you will get or can demand quality employees!LtlAnonymous Thanks this.
-
Well I think it's ridiculous to call a retention bonus that takes 5 years to earn a "sign on bonus". There are a lot of bonuses at about 5 years with covenant though
LoSt_AgAiN and LtlAnonymous Thank this. -
Meh. Just pay me up front. I don't need bonuses.
MBAngel Thanks this. -
Pay a decent wage, treat me with respect I'll stick around!
Gatorgrl, MBAngel and LtlAnonymous Thank this. -
I can only imagine the funk, and the smells in that sleeper from 3 sweaty drivers. Ugh!
