i decided to give up my cdl. i didnt really want the feds or doctor to know my sleep patterns so opted to just not get compliant and reverted back to operators. its not worth the hassle of trying to sleep with the machine i tried and was so uncomfortable i decided to not even bother. best decision ever.

I could never breath thru my nose when sleeping. I been on cpap like 2 years and wearing a full face mask. Now I can breath thru nose. I'm looking at getting a nose mask. Having a good mask makes compliance a lot easier and you find you can change to smaller mask once you more comfortable with mask
It take time to adjust to CPAP and learning how to breath again. That was my experience. When I first got CPAP my mumbers we're in the 6-8 range. 4 or less is normal. Now my number are 0.5 or 0.2 before CPAP I was up in 80s
If your CPAP shows the numbers in the morning you can see if it working for you. I noticed a big difference in my sleep and energy once I was getting below 1 -
If peoples numbers don't drop on CPAP they may need a Bipap. That's a CPAP with two pressure setting. That's what I have, they halp make sleeping more comfortable with CPAP especially if you have higher pressure settings.

I run mine at 13 cm. I use an amara view mask. My first mask killed the bridge of my nose cause I have a beak. My API dropped from 57 to 4 over the course of a year
