So once and a while I see many threads saying how CR England is bad, is the devil, yadda yadda. Then you see actual reviews.. like this Working at C.R. England: 1,659 Reviews | Indeed.com
So why all the bad reviews on this forum? They seem to teach new drivers well enough unless I'm missing something?

A quick glance shows most of those reviews are in the early days of a person's employment with CR England. Indeed probably prompts as survey a couple of weeks after applying for a job thru their site. People fill it out before they know they've been screwed with their pants on.
driverdriver, jethro712 and QuietStorm Thank this. -
I almost got roped in with them about 15 years ago but took off the 2nd day before i signed a contract with them.
They pay very low low not sure i think it's .24 a mile. Most people just use them to get the cdl and jet in a month or two from what i see on youtube. -
But don't they have dope lyrics on their YouTube raps?
Toomanybikes, x1Heavy, Rocknroller4 and 7 others Thank this. -
I was wrong apparently they start out at .14 a mile! from what this guy says. #### that should be illegal. So if you do 2000 miles you gross $280 after taxes probably take home $200.
x1Heavy, Lepton1 and Farmerbob1 Thank this. -
You know, I actually watched that video through.
After laughing my ### off in the beginning, I did watch it through.
Figured, turned away by all those entry companies, ####.......... LOL
Good Lord, showed the initial low standards that some have dropped to, to just to fill trucks.
But, also made me realize all the potential roadblocks that are presented to new entrants, no matter how long ago some things may have happened ... & no matter how you may have changed your life.
After all the turn downs & all the send homes, he still stuck it out.... whatever it was going to take. Was going to take care of his family, no matter the cost. Rear end chafing or not.
Then, he told it true..... no cudos to any, including the one that gave him the "last chance".
This is a guy that "might" actually make it out here.
I've always said that attitude & ethic means a hell of a lot more than ability. I hope he keeps the attitude up. Time will tell. He did what he had to do to make it work.
I do have at least a bit of respect for that.
Sure beat the hell out of that #### CR rap video piece of crap.......(though it IS funny as hell.) LOLLast edited: Oct 28, 2017

If you can, try to follow up on most of those newbie reports, how many still out here?
Not trying to diss your post, but just pointing out that most of those reviews seem to be rosy "first few days" impressions. That happens to 'em all, everywhere.
Did not go very far into it, but where are the follow ups, posting back later that things were still peachy after some time?
Hey, everybody has to start somewhere. Some have very little choice as to options. Folks gots to do what they got to do.... No problem with that.
But, for those that may have options, I wish they would do a bit more due deligence on their part before taking the leap. Hate seeing folks wind up in bad situations that would otherwise do well, if they would only look around a bit.Rocknroller4, pattyj and TripleSix Thank this. -

I work for CRappy England. Here's the scoop:
-Forums people are more honest or hold back less.
-If you see a "good" review on cr England it's probably someone putting a BS review for the free meal credit at the Salt Lake City terminal.
-The pay is horrible but I haven't been stuck at a shipper for more than 2-3 hours if I happen to get there on time. If you get there late you're stuck for atleast a day.
-Some loads are given with so little time they don't account for uncontrollable circumstances like minor breakdown, fatigue, weather, traffic.
-Most DMs don't give a rats ### about you. I had one that I could never get in contact with him only way was to purposely shutdown and run the load late he would call. My current one is good but it's a gamble when you're getting one.
If I were to tell you all the stressful moments I've been in with this ####ing company. I'll give you a few.
-My trainer was getting sick and let my dm know beforehand but he kept giving us tight loads so he couldn't stop to get checked out.
-I got put with a partner that had really bad bipolar disorder and my dm refused to get him off my truck or find me another truck.
-I got put with a Nigerian man that never used the jake and was speeding beyond control on downhills and my dm refused to let me kick him out for safety concerns. Instead he wanted me to go to Salt Lake City from Chicago with this man. I refused of course and he tried kicking me off the truck I got in first and put me with this other guy who was fat as ####, smelled and had his gf in his truck.
-Missed my hometime by a week and missed my younger brother's high school graduation.
Right now I've been forced to be a trainer at little less than 6 months exp. Funny thing? I'M NOT EVEN BEING PAID LIKE ONE!!!!! I'M GETTING ##### .18 CENTS A ####ING MILE WHILE LOSING SLEEP TRAINING A NEWBIE.
Yeah when I hit the 9month period I'm gone like the wind no 2 week notice nothing. Oh and the turn over rate is so bad that their 9 month contract is now a year because no one wants to work for this meme of a company. I would have been fine getting a ####ty .25 a mile solo driver but they don't want me to solo.Toomanybikes, x1Heavy, Rocknroller4 and 3 others Thank this.
