You no longer work for CRE, you say you left 6 months ago yet you still hang out at their yard? Why do you care how many roll overs they have this year, month, week etc? You claim to have "inside information", for what purpose? Move on dude, you don't work there anymore. Get over it.

They are a sheep herding business! They don't have that many miles to give out, just that many trucks that they need you to make the payment on for them.

With as many trucks as they have on the road I am not sure what your point here is. I do notice that you have a lot of negative comments about this company in general though.

This one is my favorite from his original post. "Well I am CRE trained and certified as an PH2 instructor. I searched and reviewed many trucking companies before deciding to go to the CR England school in Texas."

He then goes on to say, "Do your homework before deciding on a carrier." Research and Development apparently wasn't one of his stronger subjects in life... I'm just say'n!

#1. It IS our business how they operate because we share the roads with them.

#2. All those idiots in the 4 wheelers don't know jack squat about the trucking industry. When one truck crashes, they don't look at the name on the side of the truck. They just think we're ALL just as dangerous and stupid as that guy who just entered a clover-ramp at 65 mph and rolled his rig. That kind of idiot mentality that lumps us all in the same category in their feeble little minds leads to the creation of political action committees like "Parents Against Tired Truckers" that exist for the sole purpose of filing nuisance lawsuits and lobbying bureacrats and elected officials to get them to make our jobs next to impossible to do. You can thank these PATT idiots for contributing to the creation of this CSA 2010 bu11sh1t.

It IS our business, whether we've ever worked for CR England or not, to pay attention to these kind of alleged accidents and to demand answers, investigations, etc. We have our OWN image to protect. If we ignore companies like this, and assume that because we don't work for them, that it's none of our business, we're hurting our entire industry in the long run.

However it's ALSO in our best interests to remain objective when we hear of accidents through the rumor mill from someone who CLAIMS to have "inside connections", and not come to any conclusions until we see more proof than just what some disgruntled former employee says. Otherwise we end up with lynch mob mentality and become just as stupid and ignorant as the members of groups like Parents Against Tired Truckers.

If this guy is telling the truth about all these rollovers and half-a55ed training policies, we should all be very concerned with it because it DOES concern us.

They tried that at Prime... Lasted a couple days. Phones were ringing off the hook with driver's on bluetooth asking their dispatchers to read the messages to them, pull up directions.

There are quite a few messages that roll out of the terminal that are useless while driving.... however, there was no real way to tell

Dispatchers had enough of it and got them to turn the things on again.:biggrin_2559:

Our new OmniVision systems have the robot voice that mispronounces the words in the messages while we're driving. It can read some short-hand, but not all. (Dispatcher types "DEL APPT" for "delivery appointment" and it says "Delaware Appointment")

If you take that corded "remote", hit the "home" button, wait til it says "home... messages" then hit the middle "enter" button, it should say "message one of five" (or however many you have on there) then hit enter again and it'll read it.

With e-logs enabled, when it says "home... messages" if you hit "right" then "down" it SHOULD say "hours of service" then if you hit "enter" it should tell you how many hours you have left on your 11 or your 14, whichever is the lower number. But it doesn't always work.

And you have to have it's volume turned up. I usually keep mine down all the way cuz the robot b1tch is annoying. :biggrin_2559:
