Its posted on their website on Feb 5th. Just so everyone knows and they are hiring nationwide right now, for everyone looking for a job, especially newbies.

Us over at Central went E-logs the 1st of the year & it sucks bad. Can't make loads on time, burn your 70 before you know it. Best part is that we are now told how to log our day, even if it take less then the amount of time they want.

They will start forcing people to team I'm sure, just hope that I can find someplace to go before it happens.

I found out that training is 12 weeks long. That is way too much just to train before I go solo. Im going with Swift. Sucks they dont hire from long island, so Im moving further north just to get the job. I already turned in my app with my new address and they accepted it.

training for a solo person that has a cdl but no exp is phase 1 30 days, phase 2 60 days then u will have a co driver if u stay company or u can lease and be by yourself in Ur own truck if u want, or u can sign up to be a phase 2 trainer after u sign your lease. :biggrin_2551:

but is that too long to be in training ? I don't think so. not with the countless roll overs we see everyday, and the late loads because of lack of trip planning. :biggrin_25512:

and as far as paperless logs are consigned. I enjoy them and I have not had a late load that was driver error yet. u have to use them just as u would your paper logs. now if your used to logging that u arrived in a cirtin place at a different time, or u put down that u drove 500 miles and u really drove 575 or 600 then they will not work for u. but guess what? neither will your paper ones with the right dot cop checking you out. :biggrin_2555:

I put up with Werner's paperless logs for a short time a while back, and the biggest problem I had(not the only problem, just the biggest)was running out of hours while sitting at a customer getting loaded or unloaded.Or not having enough hours left afterward to get to a truck stop or some place SAFE to park. That's why you see alot of their trucks parked on entrance or exit ramps or just about any place they could find to shut down.Even though(if I remember right)it's against their company policy.Besides,I'm from the old school, and old habits are hard to break.Looks like I may not have a choice.Seems everyone is working toward paperless.
