Why do they need armed security guards, and metal detectors at their offices?

Is that any way to greet all these "happy" CRE drivers?

I've talked to a fellow Marten driver that did CR England for a while. He said you can do company driver instead of leasing. He said his experience wasn't horrible, but he couldn't stay.

Right now they are offering only a six month contract schooling contract?
And you go a dedicated route before? Finishing your phase 2 training?
Why did all the other people decide to leave? :biggrin_25512:

Old Driver here, CR has wonderful trucks for beginers. I cried & wined about them turning a truck over to a green student and sending him where is snows, A lot. After 2 months, they make him a "Trainer". I Pray they have changed their ways!

I see local day cabs for CRE in Casa Grande a lot. Try to get into that local fleet, probably out of phoenix.

A student I trained in July/August just got a regional company position with England. He is currently working on getting his hazmat so he can get into the intermodal local fleet.

That's if you lease a Truck for 6 Months...Then they will put you on...I know a Driver that just finished a 6 month with CR and after the, 6 he gave them the Truck back and now He is with someone else...

Ah, my position is company driver only, in fact the bulk of thier dedicated routes are company only, I know I seen a few lease people on a container route, but leasing from England, be it the six month demo lease or the "full" two year lease seems like a very bad idea.
