Also, per the lease agreement the company you plan to lease to must deposit your truck payment and variable mileage DIRECTLY into Horizon's account. What company will do that? I really do want to know.

 

From what I've been reading here I guess I'm just not doing something right, I've been a I.C. for C.R. England since 6/21/09, since I've been with C.R. England I've had some rough days, there is no doubt about it this last year has been hard on truck drivers nation wide, even some long time companies have completely shut down and closed their doors, and we'll never see them on the road again. But for the most part I've noticed more of our trucks are on the road were as so many others are sitting and hoping for loads going anywhere. I don't see where C.R. England has tried to do me or anyone else dirty, unfair, or in anyway out of line at all, I've actully had the pleasure of meeting other England company drivers, and independant contractors that have been behind the wheel of C.R. England trucks for 17 to 30 plus years, we have some of the nicest trucks and trailers, the best runs, and we have some of the nicest people in the trucking business to work for. I will say this, if you go to work for C.R. Enland and don't think you will have to WORK HARD to make it, then you won't make it, go to work at Pizza Hut or McDonalds, you won't make it at C.R. England if you go into it half hearted. What ever choice you make in the trucking world, make the best choice for yourself, but I chose C.R. England, and I am sure glad I did.

Stay Far away. I am under lease with them afrer averaging 310 a week off 2800-3200 mile weeks I let relief driver run it to honor contract and went to work for small company. Crooked Rascals England

I went to work driving team to portland and back to New orleans Every 4 days turning a round trip and makeing 950 a week as a company driver gone 4 home three better than englnd ever offered.

NO! - I'm sorry things aren't going better for you, I do understand what you are saying, there have been some weeks that I've made less than $300.00 but thank God they have been far and few between, I didn't say that it's all been gravy, and I will not ever say that, it's just a really bad economy right now, I believe we will all prevail in time.
