That's pretty bold putting out those low wages like that in public. I thought they saved those wages for a surprise once they have you under contract.
UKJ, PChase and Flatbedder73 Thank this. -

What's wrong with that pay? That's just about what I made starting out - in 1981!

This lot CRE gave me the princely sum of 21c mile after going thru their training in 1997.
so if they're now paying 25c mile now for grads, that's a "raise" of 4c in about 18 yrs.
now that's progress. !!2Girls_1Truck and UKJ Thank this. -
ramblingman, joseph1135, Shaggy and 3 others Thank this.

but doing the math and all pay still comes out to about $9.25 an hour for all hours being on a truck if a new driver runs at least 500 miles a day and spends 1-2 hours on duty each day.....pay isn't great, but considering other training packages might be a little better than most that just pay 450 a week.halfburn Thanks this. -
Lowa3468 Thanks this.

So, after 5 months of employment, you can make .25/mile. Well let me get right on over there. Maybe Big Mamma Cheesecake there will be my mentor.
