england isnt too bad but there is no perfect company and the complianing is bull**** but in al seriousness if a person is ill they do need to go see a doctor and be heard not ignored by there dm or any other person in a managment in that type of authrity position

Here's one you guys can try, if you need...works for me every time.
Seems there's always some jerk driver who goes into the shipper/reciever right before you do, loses his danged mind, and now the shipping clerk is in a really foul mood. NOW.....YOU get to deal with what our trucker buddy left behind, and still get loaded or unloaded in a reasonable time.
Walk up, smile...they're frowning, of course....and they gruffly tell you to sign in on the log sheet...right after you sign your name and drop the necessary info...look them right in the eye and say.."see my signature there?".
They look at you like you're stupid, and that's ok....
You then say "you should hold onto that log sheet page...because I'll be famous soon and that signature of mine with be worth something on Ebay!"
Makes 'em laugh every time, and hopefully undoes what the jerk before you did so you can get in and out like you want. -
you are correct about other drivers being ***holes to the recievers and the shippers as well
-
Yessir, you know you're in for a fun ride when the driver ahead of you walks out of the shipper's door shouting expletives....you're thinking, how do I get the shipping clerk calmed down so I can get loaded?
They're usually cursing because they read the wrong appointment date or time on their Qualcomm... -
I have retained an attorney.

hey govols0872 you can do 3700 miles even on electonic logs. hey ronin im kinda wondering why you would have an attorney?
-
Dawg - going after CRE for several reasons - more to follow.
And sure, during ONE week, you could max out your hours and do a bunch of miles, but THEN, you'd need a 34 hr reset...so the next week you couldn't do the same miles after having 2 days off. You CANNOT do those miles week in and week out, period. -
Do you know any one who pull their trailers ? Do they pay better then o/o or l/o .
